The menus provided should be used as a guideline. The Executive Chef and Director of Catering would be honored to customize a menu to fit your tastes and take advantage of seasonal and local delicacies.
GUARANTEED NUMBER OF GUESTS
The InterContinental Stephen F. Austin Hotel requires a guarantee of the number of guests attending your function by noon, three business days prior to your function date. You will be charged for the guaranteed number or the actual number attending, whichever is greater.
SERVICE CHARGES & SALES TAX
A 21% service charge and Texas state sales tax of 8.25% will be added to all the food charges. Alcohol beverage prices are subject to
service charge. State tax is included in the published price.
FUNCTIONS UNDER 25 PEOPLE
A service Charge of $50.00 will apply for all functions with less than 25 attendees. Groups with less than 25 attendees whose lunch and
dinner selections or reception stations include hot buffets will incur a $125.00 supplementary food charge.
Full payment shall be made at least 10 days prior to the date of the function. A credit card must be on file in case of any miscellaneous charges.
A reduced rate of $12.00 is available for event parking. Parking can either be billed to the master account on file or your attendees may pay for their own parking.
BANQUET ROOM RENTAL
The amount of food and beverage purchased will determine the rental price of banquet rooms, if applicable.
A complete inventory of audio visual equipment is available for rental. Pricing upon request.
SPECIAL REQUESTS AND THEMED EVENTS
We will be glad to arrange entertainment, ice carvings, specialty cakes, floral arrangements and themed decor, etc. Please allow sufficient
ordering time for special requests.
Private telephone lines, conference calls, data links, and polycom phones can be installed in your meeting rooms for voice or computer
communication. Pricing upon request.
FOOD AND BEVERAGE
No food or beverage may be brought into the Hotel without special permission from the hotel. This excludes Bridal and Groom's Cakes.
Guests may not remove any food or beverage from the premises nor consume food and / or beverages supplied and/or prepared by a
party without the Hotel's written approval.
SIGNS AND DISPLAYS
Pre-approved signage is permitted in registration areas and in private function areas only. No signs or displays are permitted in the Hotel
lobby or other public areas without written permission from the Hotel. Banner hanging is available through our Engineering Department
and must be scheduled in advance. Pricing upon request.
Vegetarian and Organic selections are available upon request. Pricing upon request.
Coat Room Attendants are available upon request at $2.25 per person (based on the guarantee). A minimum charge of $125.00 is required.
LATE NIGHT STAFFING SURCHARGE
An additional charge for staff applies for functions that continue past the contracted times at the following rates: Servers $15.00 per hour
each; Captains $30.00 per hour each.
